2.5" HDD can be connected to the eSATA port directly, and power is supplied by computer USB port

METHOD:

Connect the2.5" SATA interface to a 2.5" SATA HDD interface, then connect the eSATA port to the laptop SATA port. After that, please connect the USB port of the cable to the USB port of laptop. Please note that the USB just supply the power, don’t transmit the data.

NOTE: This product is only compatible with laptop 2.5" SATA hard disk, not suitable for desktop 3.5" hard drive.
